Wait Kurt!

Don’t go off half cocked !

Star decal on a wrangler door is one thing . On a hilux door is another .

Someone should tell the ricer fans that the American military dropped a nuke on the Japanese. Putting a us milirary symbol on a rice mobile is Like putting a swastika on a yammulke .

This would be because you Can’t turn a vehicle back onto
It’s wheels from a chassis mounted recovery point.

Maybe someone should come up with roof mounted recovery points for hiluxrs and tunas?

I guess you are right Mike and Oppies.

A chip is useless compared to a Raptor kit because a properly installed Raptor kit adds 25kw and 75N.m. to any size engine and gives the Ranger the most capable off-road ability under the sun.

And then if you add “The Beast” decals, your Ranger can compete in the Baja 1000 or Dakar Rally and actually stand a chance to win with the right driver and navigator combo.

Interesting thread.

I tried to think of something (the thread is about 4x4 modifications and a Raptor kits and decals are not a 4x4 mods...) and I have come to the conclusion that it depends on what vehicle..

For instance: As said before, a offroad bumper and a snorkel on an Amarok  or a "long range tank" on a Patrol...
Or a bash plate on a Landy...

Central locking on a Jimny....

I mean, one can reach all the doors from the drivers seat....

Or a long range fuel tank on a Disco TDV6. You should be stranded on the side of the road before your fuel runs out...

My favourite is the Journo's complaining that there is no reverse camera on the new Jimny.
