Isn’t Piesangkloof and De Wildt in the NW province?
Kurt your asking if Chas might know the difference between Jo-Burg and Cape Town. Thought you actually knew him. Ha ha 😂 🤣 😆

Chas, are you posting your thoughts, some bad glues or did you start posting a list and then pour another whiskey?

But, I think you are suggesting I add:
Piesankskloof
Leeuwenkloof !
Wolwekloof
& Sable Ranch ?

The wedge doesn't count...
... Manny ... I fear that you are more likely to
have been the pickled one ( Brandywyn ?)
looking at your drivel written at your hazy dazey hour ?
' ... glue ... ' ??? and you go on to add in post #1
a further miss-spelt 'Piesankskloof'' that you have also
pedantically stressed to be outside your
very limited little world of Gauteng ...
... Famous Fiver VoorLoper ...
... Veni Vidi Vici ...

Hallo all

There is two lists here on the forum a comprehensive list and then the terror list.

I'm not quite ready for the terror list but I'm looking for a list of 5 or 6 of the more challenging places without being completely rediculous.

No 1 on my list is Koos se klim. I'm not quite interested in briekmerk etc because they are outside of my skill set.

Please suggest 5 or so that scared you.

For reference it is a big patrol so I'm not looking for jimny trails nor modded lifted jeep trails but I want to stretch out now from hennops and de wildt

Hannes, Koos se Klim is an obstacle at Moegatle.
If you want 5 challenging Trails but are not keen on damage then any of the Trails on that list would be OK with the exception of Moegatle and Att se Gat.

On Koos se Klim there is no chance of damage IF you get it right, if it goes wrong you could write the vehicle off...

Thanks manny I agree but for about 8 years Koos se klim has been "spooking" with me. ( since the lux barge challenge in 2013 or 14)

For the first time, I have a vehicle that I feel comfortable in trying, I will just need some of the old hands to guide me up and help me overcome the pucker factor.

I know Xtrail Junky will go up there in a Duster or his Xtrail but I need some metal around me and not just plastic.

Hannes I've been sitting with the same problem.

Done a few trails, still fairly new but looking for a little more....

Still trying to find the "cohones" for obstacles like Koos se Klim!

A Duster was, apparently, taken to Koos Se Klim.
They could not get it to the start of the Klip.
Attempt abandoned..

Hannes, Shane (& others) should we set up a Moegatle Day?
Go there, do a bit of the trail, get to the Klim, the guys who want to can do it.
Head back on the trail.
Hit the pub?
