SAXJ raised this question on another thread & listed all the remaining 4x4's available with solid axles.
Jeep Wrangler
Toyota Land Cruiser (bakkie only)
Nissan Patrol (not the new one)
Mercedes Gelandewagen
Suzuki Jimny
Can anybody think of any others?

Obviously the Unimog as well
The Thar is (was) available with a live front axle in India - not locally, though. I am also quite sure some of the lesser known Eastern European 4x4s still have live axles.

The imminent Wranger pick up will also have solid axles but I think they are only launching it next year.
We can expect it to be extremely popular in SA.

You are wrong about the Land Cruiser.
All 3 LC 70 series models (S/Cab, D/Cab & SW) have SFA.
You can, today, only buy 3 new vehicles with SFA in SA:
Land Cruiser 70 series (S/C, D/C & S/W) by Toyota
Wrangler by Jeep
Jimny by Suzuki.

Manny I forgot away that other SUV that they make. The one that looks like a bakkie.

With that 70 Series, there are no plans to replace, it but Toyota have stated they will continue to build them as long as there are sufficient customers.
But only one on the list is compliant enough to be sold anywhere in the world.

Yes, new G-Wagen is IFS.
As is the new Patrol.
The Iveco Daily 4x4 is SFA, but it's not a mainsteam, EB license vehicle...

As I've said before.
It was quite a sad day when I walked into Land Rover and realised I couldn't buy a real 4x4 there anymore.

Sadly you need both! Live axles are hell on any trip longer than 600km and independent is ok on most terrain!
Can’t have them both

You can’t do 600km in a Defender or Wrangler?
