I've not heard of heat shrink with adhesive inside. I use tons of heat shrink. I buy from Electrical wholesalers, electronics shops, sometimes even builders (if I'm desperate), and as Manny mentioned, wurth also supplies, but they're very expensive

Anthony I do agree with you. The only heat shrink I know of with adhesive is the ones used on 11000 Volt and higher cable joints and Cable ends.

If applied right "normal" heat shrink will seal the joint properly. (I have also never heard of an adhesive version)
