Going back to Mud's

When I got my D3, it came with 19" mud's. When the Tyre's were finished I fitted AT's.
I have used a huge assortment of AT's in 19" with some good and bad experiences as we could not find 19" mud's easily available. Bridgstone, Goodyear, and Maxxix offered to ship in tyre's for me, but I would need to order more than just 5 in case of a puncture/side wall cut etc. so I went to 17" as there is more choice.
So we put the 19" rims on the D4 and got a used 4 Goodyear mud's from another G4 who went the AT route, and I got 17" rims thinking the selection and availability would be better. However I found Mud's tend to be "out of stock" and most tyre fitment centers either don't or don't want to fit a mud terrain to a Disco, go figure.
After the river trip I decided to go back to Mud's, google was my friend, and I finally found Maxxi's at a good price, so I now run on 265/65/17 764 Maxxi Bighorn at a cheaper price than BF AT's which I replaced in around March this year after ripping chunks of rubber out of 2 of them rock crawling.
For all the guy's looking at AT's, even the LT (light truck). All depending on what you do and dive off road, even LT's may not be an option.
Even used 19" mud's were better.
