Buying a vehicle with high kilometers

Obviously a new car is ideal and everybody would want to buy new if they could afford it.
If you are looking at a second hand vehicle to purchase. What is the maximum kilometers, not condition, kilometers you are willing to go to?

The highest I ever bought was 320 odd k km - a 1981 Isuzu KB190D [spit]. Gave me great service.
The biggest loss on a vehicle was on the only new car I ever bought

I always said that I would never buy a vehicle with more than 100K Km's on it. I would also never drive a vehicle past a 100K Km's.
Well. The Ranger is on 135K Km's, so there goes that.
I will also not buy a new vehicle ever again. It's become to expensive.
I am looking at a 2014 FJ with 132K Km's. At first I had doubts. The more I look, the more I am drawn to it

For me it depends on the make and model of vehicle.
My first Pajero I purchased with 180,000km and I was confident it was well serviced and looked after.
If the vehicle is known for reliability then I am not scared to buy up to 200,000km but after that I suspect the vehicle will start “wearing out”, but this can also be sorted out if the engine and gearbox are sound.

80k km for a diesel, 100k km for a petrol.

Het n rukkie terug n tdv6 gekoop met 110000km op. So far, so good.

As daar ooit so iets bestaan

Depending on what it is but generally speaking I wouldn't buy anything with more than 200 000km
