Trish's new car and Oops

Not a 4x4, but if you really stretch the point it's an SUV, albeit a very little one.

We collected Trish's new car on Friday late afternoon. Did all the research and went to test a Suzuki Brezza. As we walked into the dealer, a fiery red Hyundai Venue caught her eye and that was the end of all discussions.

2020, one owner model, the 1.0T Fluid DCT, with a little under 26k kms on the clock. 2 services left on the service plan, and a few years of warranty left.

Happiness, until she phoned me this morning. On her way to school a parent driving the wrong way down a one-way forced her onto the kerb, and the rim is scratched.

I guess it had to happen some time.

It's her car, I just make the payments. I had to speak out while she was sleeping to pair my phone with it. πŸ˜„

Me too, damage isn't too bad, just the rim is scratched. I'll leave it like that because more damage is inevitable, even though oldest son is prohibited from driving it by my insurers. :-)

How the hell does your son still have a drivers license?

Beats me? I've told him he's going to have support me in my old age, because I'm spending my retirement on excesses and car repairs.

My insurers have specified that he's not allowed to drive Trish's new car. I should probably exclude myself too. :-)
