Insurance providor for Offroad activities and accesories

#1

Post by Rem »

Hi all, I reviewed my current vehicle insurance policy recently and there where all sorts of exclusions regarding offroad driving and fitted accessories. Any recommendations on insurers. I have a quote from {Deleted} which I'm looking at now, any comments about them would also be appreciated..

Hi Rem, I deleted the name of the insurer due to their libelous nature.

I will ask Erin to come contribute here.
You don't really need to go through a specialist Offroad Insurer like Cross Country, Tru Grit or the one you mentioned, these days.

Also, one company has a very restrictive 6 hour reporting policy, where you have 6 hours to report a vehicle theft.
I know of at least one person who had his claim repudiated due to this, so tread carefully.

My experience with The Insurer That Must Not Be Named has been less than stellar. Stay away. I got REAMed.........
