Roof rack advice

Hi guys. Some advice please. The front runner roof rack on FILs old VX200 doesn't fit properly to his new one. We made a plan to secure it with adaptors and it works well. It is how ever making a lot of noise. We can not figure out why. Some advice please?ImageImage

Yes, um. Maybe the fact that you were driving over 29km/h is the root cause of the problem?

Started as a joke at FILs expense as it looked funny how he transported his roof rack to Front Runner to get refitted to new car.
