Well, right now, I am hoping to sight the resident leopard at our bush camp. Leopard spoor all over the place when we arrived. And fresh spoor again this morning - ie: over the other tracks.

On a side note: I did actually invite Manny to join us, but he shot it down. I presume he was worried Fearless would be upstaged by two Patrols and a Pajero.... :)

Edit: I will worry about my other plans when I get back. Currently sitting in die Kokopan pub having a beer after doing the shopping... Cheers. And happy new year to all. :)

Hopefully to be in a position to do at least one trip to the bush, somewhere, and attend a club outing in the new year.

Refer to 2023’s question and repeat.

But maybe drive upstream one less time than I did in 2023.

With both our daughters settled in the Cape, having our grandson being born in Nov 23, I guess the Cape will see us a lot more.
We are starting of with a Kylue weekend mid Jan and Club end Jan.
Having the option of the Prado and the Jimny, daily out-rides and maybe follow the Rebel 4x4 Maxxis series in 2024.
Time will tell what 2024 holds for us health wise.
God Bless you all in 2024.

So, Johannes, 2024 will be a lot like 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018 etc for you then?

I hope to get myself an older 4x4 this coming year. Will be a project vehicle to turn into a touring setup. But I also need to start over with a camping setup so will need a balance between touring and holiday camping. All fun and games though :D
Cheese, canals and mud. Flattest country in the world. Wish they had 4x4'ing here

Well, i hope to do 14 trips this year and they will be to new destinations.
I will try not to duplicate any campsite or trail that I have already done in the past.
Been there , done that. !!!
I have just sold the Echo 3. So now my camp set up will change to include a RTT.
5 trips have already been planned. All new routes and destinations.
Trip 1 starts on the 6th Jan 2024 up into Botswana via Nata, and Senyati.
Trip 2 is with the boys to Booyzenkraal later this month.
Trip 3. Holnek otherside Carolina in Feb...
