Quick welcome to Spring weekend at Thorny Bush Camp at Dinokeng.
I met the owner in Nieuwoudtville a couple of days ago. Rodney. Nice guy. I'll definitely be looking at a visit to Thorny Bush too... :)

… Earlier this month I was at Manzi Maningi
for 2 nights then right across to Southern Kruger:
3 nights in Berg en Dal Campsite then 3 nights
in a A-Frame at the nearby Wolhuter Trail
on guided wilderness walks with Ranger & Tracker.
…No close encounters that required testing
my running ability 3 months after partial knee
replacement …

He's always got a burr in his butt for something or someone. Luckily I've got a thick skin and I'm not bothered by his chirps. He'll move on to something else tomorrow. Ha ha ha 😂 🤣 😆

To myself and Ian's surprise they actually allow Gingers on North Stradbroke Island. Had to purchase a permit though for $57.80

I know that there's a few threads on different forums about beach driving, but if I'm completely honest this is some of the best views for me, after a busy week...

The had a few nice inland tracks.

Spotted a very clean looking Fortuner with a 4X4AG sticker on the island.

Going camping Moegatle for the first time this weekend. Fri-Sun, think the sun is going to be deadly.

Alex, Platbank is beautiful! Torro will love it!
