Your Goals for 2023...?

#1

Post by Mad Manny »

I don't believe in New Years Resolutions, other than, every year I resolve to be a bigger Cnut than last year & I consistently achieve that.

But, I do believe in Goals & Aims.

What are your 4x4/Overland/Offroad/Camping/Outdoors goals for 2023?
As this is an Outdoors Forum, stay On Topic.
We are not interested in you becoming a better husband, losing 3kg or resolving to finally come out the closet (Mike)...

So what do you hope to achieve in 2023? (We can look back in a year & see who achieved their goals)...

HI guys, we have a couple of goals - We would like to grow the group this year on FB to 10 000 - but in the process we would also like to see that 4x4 Action Groups members ship will grow along with it. But we would need support from the club members to do this as your interaction on post and contributions to the group would be the best way to do this. So help grow your group

Do a 5 night wild camp in the desert with the family and no facilities there or anywhere nearby is my next goal. May 2023.
I have ever only done 2-3 days alone and not quite equipped so it will be interesting.

Also try sell the current trailer and upgrade without spending too much beer money. Sell mine for a decent amount, buy a good upgrade deal hopefully. Getting over living out of ammo boxes.

Go to every corner of both the Eastern and Western Cape.
Drive every pass in these regions.
The year will be too short.

2023 goal is to go on 12 trips for the year, about one long weekend per month.

Have a list of places and a new (to me) camping trailer, so here is hoping we can make it work. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
2019 Renault Duster - Prestige
2023 GWM P-Series LS - Wuhan Warrior
2009 Echo 4 Off-Roader - Glamper

Maybe keep an eye on the Rust De Winter Jamboree event later this year?
You get to do the trail and have a very fun weekend.

Plan in September is to do the Kruger Park Lebombo trail with family (4x vehicles), cross over to Inhambane and head south to Kosi.
