What are your plans for the 2022/23 Festive season?
In other words; are you going anywhere over December/January?

I know MartinDJ, being smart, heads out in the 2nd half of November - far from the maddening crowds.

Andreas has plans that would make many of us jealous (with rage).

Kurt is spending Christmas shivering in the high inflation/low heat sh!thole of Britbongistan.

What about the rest of you?

Well our two weeks is nearing an end, this was special. Manny is correct, we avoid the hustle and bustle of normal venues.
Groenriviermond was very special, but you had to endure the weather. Strand this week was ideal weather. we even saw a grounded Humback Whale, and for the first time a Dolphin.

Once back home I will be busy at work, however I am planning a few outings to close off 2022.

I'm hoping that there will be people that still want fabrication and modification work done over the next month. Got to still pay the bills.

Visiting the folks in Gordons Bay from Centurion. Will camp out on their lawn to save accomodation costs.

This justifies me taking the trailer with and spending some time near Tankwa on the way down. Going to be hot

Going down to the West Coast as usual. No camping this year. With both me and Karin`s mothers deep in their 80`s we need to be in an area with cell phone reception.

Going for a week to Kyleu (Dinokeng). Although no electricity, still taking the kakavaan and powering with solar panels.

Work, work and work until the 5th of January. When the Vaalies start hooking their caravans to head back north, that’s my que to take holiday.

Then Easter weekend we are off to Amanzi trails on the Namibia side of the Orange river.

End of April I’m off to Mexico for work.

The rest of 2023 then will be a mystery
