WHERE: UITHOEK FARM, FOURIESBURG

WHEN: 23-25 September 2022

Ok guys and girls.

So this thread is to determine the interest in the trip this year. With the rising traveling cost and the lack of a long weekend and it falls outside the school holidays. Can we get an indication who would like to attend this trip.

There is a nice place to have pap and Kiangs in Fouriesburg Saturday morning, and a nice trail for the afternoon. There is a small shop on site, pool and a dam for bass fishing.

www.uithoek.com

Cost is R100 per 12mx 12m stand plus R100 PP. stand can accommodate 6 ppl.

We will allow 2(Two) weeks for feed back and then make a call on the feasibility of the weekend.

I don't see much info on their website wrt the trail - other than it takes around 1.5hrs to complete.

Does this mean it's more of a GTG/camping weekend?

Nothing I could find on Youtube either.

There are numerous trails in the area.
There is a mountain drive at Uithoek where you drive up the mountain to some stunning views.
But not really a 4x4 Trail as such....
