there are some differences.
for one pikup have longer overhang at a rear and this makes departure angle worse than scorpio.
i have taken a quick look at Steves scorpio and cross members look different,in a good way.
they are nicely done,smooth.
transfer case on scorpio is mounted higher than cross-member and does not represent easy hooking point.
take a look at your scorpio and compere it on mahindra plates thread.

Except for its limitations, what are your impressions on the Mahindra?

limitation in narrow ditch is blessing when packing for holiday.
i find it excellent in every way i need.
comfortable, ample of space....

no 4x4 is perfect in/for everything.
i wasn't bashing mahindra i just highlight or call it remark of shortcoming.

while i'm waiting to find out who or what Chas is and what his sin is,anyone interested to go at the place all this happen?
name is die slote ,some call it innie slote.1 hour drive from west rand.
it is R100 per car,and not very long trail.most of the obstacles can be approached from more than one side and this will
add to the time.
