RIP Jaco Jeep

#1

Post by Mad Manny »

I've just heard (via Crips from an Off Course 4x4 FB post) that Jaco Jeep (Jaco Coetzee) has passed away.

The 3rd Life Member of the Club to pass on this year.

I last had contact with Jaco 2 weeks ago & he seemed full of beans.
He last logged on to the Forum just 3 days ago.

I have no more details.

RIP Jaco...

Very sad to hear this
... a very capable off roader and his Cherokee too.
He seemed to be well past some very big life challenges over last few years ...

Sad, last drove with him at Sandwani, had such a never say die attitude, RIP Jaco. Wild as you can get, but good in his own way.

Jaco and I had a reasonably regular Whatsapp chat, since the AGM and what a humble man, with lots of 4x4 / off-road knowledge. The last conversation was on 27 July. He is going to be missed. RIP, Jaco!
