I have a 2004 model Colt workhorse bakkie in my fleet. My only non-Isuzu.
It has over 300 000km on it & has had a hard life.

The seats in the Colt were looking tatty...

Pierre 'Bugger' Eksteen is Club & Forum member, he runs VdubTech.
He is a 4x4'er, Overlander, Father, Event Arranger & a Poor Communicator in English (but not bad in Afrikaans).

He rebuilds & refurbishes vehicles for clients, mainly Air-cooled VW's.
He has an upholstery shop.

A few weeks ago I sent Bugger the pics above (actually a video from whence those pics came) & asked him to quote on reupholstering them.

Today I collected them, seats look fantastic! Not only were they reupholstered, but Pierre then made seat covers.

So we have seat covers on the seat covers to protect the seat covers! :D Image

I agree Manny - they did look crap!

How about showing us what the seats look like underneath the covers?

Bugger, its 72km return, but I sweetened the deal by meeting Andreas at O'Peri Peri for lunch on the way back.

Manny a.k.a "penny pincher" just tried to give the colt some street cred.

I can refer him to my sound guy in Boksburg so that he can get the most out of his Kurt Darren collection.
