Reminiscing: My first 4x4 GTG 16 April 2011 - 10 years ago

Back in early 2011 I started a group called 'Gauteng West' to cater for West Rander's 4x4 needs.
Our first two outings were drinks evenings.
The first one had 12 attendees.
The 2nd had 24.

I then decided it was time to arrange our first 4x4 outing, we had it on 16 April 2011.
That was just over 10 years ago...

I used to number the events, the first was Gauteng West I, the 2nd Gauteng West II.
This one was Gauteng West III.

I eventually changed the name to Greater Gauteng West & then shortened it to GGX.

We had about XXII events before I shut it down as it clashed with the newly formed 4x4 Action Group.

Here's a video, by Steve Nuns, of that first 4x4 Outing.

People that start reminiscing means they are getting old and senile. Chas constantly reminisces about the Land Rover Series models….. case in point
Flex is overrated
