I received one of those phone calls none of us want an hour or so ago.
It’s my sad duty to inform you all that our very good friend André Opperman - Oppers - passed away this evening.
I don’t really think he’s the type to Rest In Peace. Hopefully wherever guys like Oppers end up it’s got a lot of motorbikes and cars and boats with ridiculously large engines .
You will be missed buddy .

Sad news.
To those who didn't know him: Andre Opperman was a Husband & Father running a successful Optometrist Practice in Worcester.
Despite being Wheel Chair Bound he lived & wheeled, more than many 'able bodied' individuals.
He operated his XJ & his boat with abandon.
