OK.
I had this blue practice mortar mounted on the spare wheel of my Samurai, where one normally mounts your spade. I got home one day and the neighbor came running over and told me the Bomb Squad is looking for me. They want to talk to me. He gives me a phone number. I phone the number.
Whats up I asked. He tells me I have a bomb mounted on the back of my car. How do you know I asked. So, someone took a photo of my car with the bomb on it and sent it to the bomb squad. I tell him it is a practice mortar not a bomb. Highly illegal to have stuff like that, I must take it to the nearest police station IMMEDIATELY. So I unbolt the 'bomb' and took it to my guy at the police station. He knows what it is and thinks it is lovely. But he is not aware that it is illegal to have. He send me to a lady officer. She thinks it is pretty. She phones the number and got told it is illegal to have goodies like that, they will come and collect it. They never told me who sent the photo. But I think it was one of my enemies in the complex where I live.

I had to get rid of all my bombs in case the bomb squad come visit me. ;)

Unfortunately I have this unhealthy fascination for firearms. So about 25 years ago I bought myself a lovely Brno .22 rifle. I collected my license and fetched the rifle. After about 2 days I couldn't contain myself anymore. I just had to shoot it! Sunday morning and the wife and kids are in church. Careful measurements indicated that from my bedroom, down the passage, through the door, up to the outbuilding, I had 15 meters. Give or take a cm. I put a block of wood against the outbuilding wall and a kitchen chair in the bedroom. And the .22 rifle on the chair.....

Loaded a cartridge and took carefully aim at the block of wood. Squeezed the trigger and nothing happened. Squeezed again and nothing happened.
Time for some trouble shooting to find out what went wrong. Tilted the rifle over to have a look. Found that the safety catch is on!
Took the safety off and pulled the trigger. The shot went off like it should.

The bullet hit the outbuilding wall high, it seems as if I had just pulled the trigger without aiming. Walked out to examine the damage to the wall and noticed a 150mm long groove in the carpet, 2m from the door. Exactly .22 inch wide! That .22 bullet has shaved off all the carpet material and there was no way I was going to get it closed up.

You won't believe this, but the FIRST thing my wife noticed when she got home was the groove in the carpet! Up to this day she has never forgiven me for shooting up her carpet.
