Karoo Over landing Trip

I recently read a book called "the Timless Karoo" and it made think a bit.
Why are we so keen to do over landing trips to Namibia, Botswana and the likes? Why not do one in SA and this case the Karoo?
In the book, the Author, Jonathan Deal takes on a journey to visit all the towns, big and small, throughout the Karoo.
Now I want to do the same but with a small twist. I want to hook the Ratel and actually spend a night in each town, not just stop for a quick coffee and move on, but spend a night.
I think it could be a worthwhile trip

Excellent
If anybody does something like this, they should report back. Let the planning begin

I would also like to explore the back roads of the Karoo area. Let me know if you go. I will do the same.

A quick count gives me 41 towns in the Karoo. 41 Towns he managed to visit.
The idea is/was to spend a night in each tow, but 41 nights is a long trip and might not be doable in one go. Maybe over 2 years.
Unless you don't spend a night in a town you've already slept at. Maybe just stop for a coffee.
If I do this, then my trip is reduced to 30 nights. Again. Maybe 2 trips needed

Sounds like a nice trip . Maybe start in a clock wise direction , do 15 now and 15 later . A lot of planning will go into such a trip .

Doing something like that over the December break would work
At least 3 weeks out in the bush [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
