Yip!

He went on most trips and just did his thing on the trail. He lost a crank and didn’t complain, paid for a new one out of his own pocket, and kept on wheeling.

He never took offence to the thousands of Landy jokes around the numerous camp fires because he could out-drive most of us.

Kurt, in other words he was a LEGEND!

Didn't know him - but sounds like he was a stand up guy.

A good man gone too soon.

I did many trips with Peter. He steadfastly got on with the job at hand. Never seemed flustered. Never panicked. Just serenely reviewed the situation and found a solution. Never complained. Always willing to assist others on the trail. The type of companion always welcome on any excursion.

Peter we are going to miss you on our future travels. Hopefully the Orange Disco will continue to join us on our outings.

Peter may have passed on but his firm belief that Disco’s are reliable vehicles or that Hankooks are good tyres will live with me forever. 😂😂

RIP Peter.

Sincere condolences to Sue-Anne and Ernest. May you find the strength to help you through this difficult time.
