Wow, average of 100km per day every day just to do 4x4'ing....

Fearless is 9 years old.
I did the 10 passes and Namaqua Richters trips and others with Martin.

Tammy and I did a road trip to the Pikitberg, CT and up via Mossel bay.
I've driven to lake Malawi and back via Zim.

But Fearless is only on 115000km.

So Martin is definitely pushing Most Extreme mileage....

Well done!

I will add a few km`s this coming December. Plan to do a West Coast trippie from Groenrivier down.
You will never find me without Stroh or a 4x4 :D

In the Syncro - more than 300km

In Tiny - pushing it driving 50km it is like watching paint dry .
Otherwise I just use tgeA frame & tow Tiny...
Syncro Cox Camper
SJ 410 TarzanTiny

For ‘day’ outings I probably wont want to spend more time traveling to and from the venue than I spent there...
So, 5 hrs there then max 2.5hrs away unless it's a nice route eg back roads to Karee Krans or to Loskop along backroads ie via Wilgerivier & Oliphants etc.

Camping I usually want to do at least 2 nights
to warrant prep, pack & unpack and travel to & fro.... and now I'm retired, Friday night too to avoid Friday pm traffic and even only return Mon if its good posi ! So 2-4 nights.

Easter and Public holiday weekends, I get
traffic-phobia and take extra night in front and after to avoid the madness ...

Longer than that we getting serious and I gen
want to go far and long !

(... just yesterday looking at possibility of
night or two at Songimvelo and or Jozini Tigerfishing either before and/or after the KZN trip ... even though Kurt may want me to lead and set the pace of the convoy from Joburg ... )
