Looking on internet I see one can buy
repair kits for Brake, Clutch Master Cylinders
and even for slave cylinders ...
... essentially seal kits.
Might be an idea to keep them in
spares box for overlanding .

Thinking about this your old master cylinder. Could maybe only needed a proper adjustment after the clutch replacement. Toyota adjuster normally located on the clutch pedal. Usually a pain in the arse to adjust as you need to wiggle your frame in such a position at the drivers foot-well under the dash.

Yes, I am going to see if I can have the original one serviced & then keep it as a spare....
