Does it make sense to have a 3rd vehicle?

Mike did I miss why you want to sell one?

Alternate between the Kuga and the FJ. Then you still have a toy and you use less fuel in the week.

If you can reduce a payment then yes but if they are paid off and you don't need the cash for another reason then why not.

I still don't know why.

The cost of keeping a 3rd car must be less than one tank of petrol on the FJ.

I am also thinking about a new 3rd vehicle. I need to get my hands on the 76 for serious mods. Needs to be careful as the 76 is Swambo`s platkar.

We have a little Corolla for town run about thinking of replacing that with something Swambo will love

That's 3 between 2 people - 1.5 vehicles each.

I somehow need to convince myself to use the FJ as a daily drive and get rid of the Kuga

I will use the next 3 months to work out my average kms per day and from there.

If I had the cash I would leave the Tiguan for the wife and then get myself a daily eco car and a weekend family SUV that could got off road. Like a Cruiser 200 diesel.

I don't have cash either. That is why I buy good second hand cars like my Samurai and Lex Jeep. But our platkar is a 1400 Polo.
