Welcome Jonathan!
Beautiful part of the world you live in. One can drive those passes around there every weekend and not get bored.

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for approving my application to join.
I'm not big on forums but will gladly contribute to topics I feel worthy to respond.
I drive an '89 VW Syncro with future 2.3l 5cyl engine. I'm in a long process of rebuilding the engine with modern aftermarket ECU and sensors and optimising it for low down torque, efficiency and durability.
Regards
Mack (Adrian)

Welcome Mack.
You have a friend on this forum.
Bugger is big into VW's that is not standard. Excuse the contradiction, but he is an absolute guru.
Dirk Shubert also has a Synco.

Hi All, good to e- meet. I’m relatively new to 4x4 and camping. Can anyone give me a review on the Alphago S6 (or similar) off road camper?

Welcome Mack & Gennie!
Hennie, ask your question in the Overlanding section, it'll get a better response there...

Nope, I have a White one. 2 spare wheel carriers at the back.

Wellcome Mack and Hennie.
Nice to hear that another Syncronaught has joined the group.
Ditto with the two spare wheels on the back as 14" tyres are hard to come by in the grammadullas when needed.
I'm running an Andreno stroked (2,3) boxer motor that has adequate low down torque but it regrettably has a thirst above 110km/h.
We've already done some most memorable trips with the club and with a great bunch of people.
As always, looking forward to the next outing.

Hi all members
Thank you for approving my application Manny and committee. Specially to admin for assisting me as I am mos BBC (Born before Computors)
A bit about myself, I am from Velddrif WC, 55 yrs young and drive a Hilux D4D. I absolutely enjoy overlanding and
camping. Has been to Moz, Botswana, Nam, Angola etc.
My passie is die Noordkaap, Namakwaland, Oranjerivier en Weskus, so as julle ooit ń trip wil doen in hierdie geweste en inligting nodig het, julle is welkom om my te skakel.
Why did I join AG, my observation is that this group has a lot of appreciation for nature and redponsible 4x4, I resepect that
Laasste woorde, Ek sing nie kamplitjes nie en staan nie in ń ry vir kos nie. Die Army was genoeg.
Thanks
