Member number 439, Erno Kaap passed away yesterday.
I do not know the details, at this stage.
I spoke to him yesterday.
He asked about the YEF at Holnek.
He was on his way to Uithoek, where he did a Solar Installation.
He was telling me about the changes there & we discussed having a Club outing there next year.

He was 42 years old.

RIP Erno. Not good news 😕 😞

Recieved a call from Russell Venter.
As I mentioned above, Erno was en route to Uithoek to complete a Solar Installation at Uithoek new mountain lodge.
The story is, he was coming back down (if you've been there, you'll know), when his Fortuner slid and crashed, killing him instantly, a staff member, who was with him, was airlifted out...
