Are you looking for a safety boot or just a general hiking boot?

Mainly Workwear, not too concerned with footwear.
But, so that others can benefit from the Thread, I'll add Fotwear to the list above....

I buy overalls and so on from Handy Garments in Laudium. Quality is OK, but the prices are very reasonable, so if I need to chuck a shirt, I don't cry about it. Thei safety boots are R150-R200 a pair and mine have lasted over a year with regular Dubbin treatment.
Otherwise, I know the owner of Babelegi Workwear.

For foot-ware in at work I've bought my own safety shoes because those that they supply are the most uncomfortable things ever made.
I bought the JCB Glide Black shoes from Robot Industrial for R1350.00 which is better price than I've seen anywhere else. It's a running shoe type of safety shoe with a carbon toe cap and a Kevlar layer in the sole for anti penetration. They are nice and light and super comfortable. Being ESD compliant is an added benefit.

Paul, why do you need a safety boot for work - a Clip Board won't damage your toe if you drop it? :D

I can't take people on for not conforming to the rules if I'm flaunting them. It's not the clipboard that will do the damage, it's what other want to drop on me that's the problem. Ha ha ha 😂
