Guys, a few of our members bought this little unit and they tell me it’s a good radio. I contacted the supplier and after some attempts they were unwilling to offer a club discount.

Anyway, here is the price if you are interested. This is not a club endorsed product, just looks like a good option and the small size appeals to me with my small Paj.

I’ve enquired further about the external speaker.

The suggested radio installed in Wooky's SJ

The onboard speaker is only a 2W speaker.
This will be fine in a quieter vehicle but in something like the SJ you can't hear much at road going speeds.

I have just ordered the external speaker for it from RTS but still need to fit it and test it.
The external speaker is a 4W speaker and about twice the diameter as the onboard.

RTS have quoted R2395.68 for the radio plus speaker and antenna with free delivery, incl VAT. I can’t upload a pdf here.
