TJM 40mm lift springs for a Disco 2. I got them just after I bought the Disco but haven't fitted them and doubt that I will. A new set is R11000,00 and I'll take R8000,00 for this set.

Doesn't the D2 have airbags?

Many replaced with coils. Mine's the same, original air suspension removed and coils installed. However, it also has air helpers / bags fitted, as the previous owner used to tow a heavy caravan. Nothing fancy, airbags get inflated or deflated via a valve near the towbar.

Not all of them came out standard with airbags at the back. As Erin said, a lot of those that air bags fitted have been modified to go back to springs.
People don't realise that airbags are a service item on most vehicles that have them fitted. From what I have read, their life on the vehicle should 8 to 10 years and then should be changed. They don't last for ever as the rubber will get less flexible with age and perish.

Airbags or air suspension are one of those things that sounded good on paper but should never have been taken to production in light motor vehicles....
