My quick answer is that you must decided how often you want to use your vehicle off road and how often.
If it is a daily runner then stick to the recommendations in the first part of the video which is 40 to 50 mm lift.
Anything more than that means you lose daily driving comfort and you want to do some serious offroad work without dragging belly and tail.

If you need more than a 40mm or 50mm lift your base vehicle is not a good 4x4 or a Jeep, but I repeat myself.
I've managed for 10 years and over 140 4x4 outings with a 38mm lift.

My suspension lift was around 40mm from the OME kit.
But a significant body lift was done to fit the KZTE motor...

Shane the days of super lifts is gone. The new trend is suspensions with dropout and very little lift. The guys get insane flex doing it this way.

Personally I don't like exessive lift myself and if there is a way to drop my vehicle and stille have the motor fit - I'll do it in a heartbeat!

Nothing like a Range Rover. The do not lower the vehicle. Breakover, departure and approach angles are enorm. The do stuff like tummy tucks
with none of the gearbox and transfer case lower than the frame rails.
