4x4 Action Group

I bought a FJ recently and need to replace tyres. What tyres would you recommend for:

1. I want tyres where price and value meet, not R4000k per tyre and not Chinese crap.
2. 90% tar, 7% dirt and 3% 4x4 with obstacles

Of course one tyre does not meet all specs but which would meet most?

My choice having looked at Errols Tyres, considering budget, is the Goodyear Duratrac. R2923 per tyre

265/70/17 Ill go Grabbers or Pirelli

285/70/17 you’ll struggle to find a tire under R4K

I ended up going for the Pirrelli at Plus, more aggressive treads than their standard at and the price was good.

Did you get the LT spec?

I actually don’t think they make that tyre in LT. It’s a very nice looking tyre and Pirelli are good tyres, just post the load and speed index so we can check it out [emoji1303]

The tyre specs are 265/70/17 115T M+S (1215kg, 190km/h) , R10800 for 4 including wheel alignment.
