Manny, Those price differences are crazy, it really helps to keep an eye out for well priced diesel, then try fill up there, but it has to be convenient or semi-convenient

The lower the sulphur the better!
Sulphur pollutes the oil, so if you're running 500ppm you should definitely change oil every 5000kms.
10ppm is cheapest in my area, so I definitely use it. I personally also find I get better fuel consumption than when running BP 50ppm.

Sadly don't own an offroader. It's too flat living on a small island.

All the edenvale guys seem to have a good local station. I paid over R16 per litre at a Sasol in tjoeras. The lowest close to where I can utilize it is a Vooma garage in Horizon who seems to be around R 15.30 for 10ppm....

I work just off 14th avenue on Ontdekkers....
N14/Hendrik potgieter is 16km further daily and no time saving due to Hendrik potgieter being equally congested...

The only times I go past 8km/l on the 76 v8 is when using 50ppm.Michael wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2019 8:15 amThe lower the sulphur the better!
