Aw. It was the perfect post!
Sorry. Haha, Someone saw it then. I'll put the attachment back.

And I'll say that in my industry (aviation) I will not ever put anything into the fuel/oil system of an aircraft I'm working on that has not been approved by the manufacturer. Not recommended. Recommendations mean nothing. It needs to be approved in black and white.

Think this reply is more PC? Alex?
Who gives a Fork if it's PC?

it's true.... which is all that we should care about!

oops. Manny said I shouldn't say Fork on the forum!

Well, the invite is still open. Come challenge the product.

Show me the limitations.
Show me that it does not increase lubricity, because that is our claim.

If there was an MSDS to read then it would be easy to determine if it increases lubricity or not.

Evidently I did not phrase that properly.
The Friction Reduction Concentrate in Uniglide increases lubricity. Also it is stable up to 280degC.

I took off the turbo on the Troopie the other day, as it has seen 400kkm. The bushes were nothing wrong with. The tips of the compressor wheel were rounded. Normally the bushes and seals in the turbo go. But now I will have to rebuild my turbo, because the compressor wheel is not going to work properly any more.

Spoke to a pal this morning. He has a MB Actros 460. This horse tended to loose boost and then go into limp mode. So I suggested we dose the oil in the sump and spike the diesel at about 200:1.

This was about 2 months ago. Since doing this, the truck has not acted up again. The FRC has lubricated the whole injection system and I believe that the wastegate was sticky. But the residual FRC in the exhaust gasses was enough to lubricate that pivot on the wastegate.

UniGlide is fantastic, it has kept this Thread going smoothly for weeks with very little friction.
I dunno what it does to a Internal Combustion Motor, but it certainly helps with flogging a dead horse...

What is in it ?

Where is the data sheet?

I can give you a really long list of engines that were destroyed because someone put something nasty into the oil.

Why doesn’t the manufacturer of the snake oil just issue a professional data sheet?
