Manny. No lower arm protection plates. Shocks replaced about 15k ago. Had cv boot problems before and after new shocks.

Reenen. Thanks. Will try that trick.

Rudi. Thanks. I will give that a try as well.

Thank you all.

Spoke to Uys, LCA plates won't help.

I was not aware the 100 was Torsion Bar - thanks Rudi.
Andreas, just a tip: take it to the tyre place as loaded as possible.
Measure the lift (to wheel arch) both sides - before & after.

The real problem here is you are making an IFS do a SFA's work - but you are all about the comfort...

I have done some reading up and i will try the torsion bar adjustment after measuring all around from wheel centre to the bottom of the wheel arch.

Then there is something called droop as well. I believe this can mess with the cv joints.First you take the measurement from bottom of fender to centre of wheel. Then you lift the font end off the ground until the tyres are just lightly touching the ground.Repeat measurement. Apparently you need the difference in this measurement to be between 55 and 75mm.

Have you thought of buying an SFA vehicle?

Cruiser 105 comes to mind

Could this be sarcasm?

Just to report back. Outer joints replaced and inner joints serviced. All repacked with grease and new boots. While this was being done a lot of other work was done on the suspension. New tie rod ends. Replaced ball joints.new rear upper control arms. Lets see how long this all lasts.

Thanks for all the input.

Iā€™m guessing that cost you about the same as a reconditioned diesel pump for the Mitsubishi 4M41 motor
Flex is overrated
