RELAY Connector Problem
Posted: Tue Apr 16, 2019 6:03 pm
Ive had a relay problem on my
defender and various aspects discussed
on our whatsapp group are included here :
First shots shows main feed wire from
battery and a connector plate that has
been hot / corroded ... also blown fuse
https://ibb.co/SKFdCsv
https://ibb.co/jDHLgtr
A temporary solution adapted an exotic
fuse to fit the fuse box to get home ...
https://ibb.co/dtC0nN6
Here is the male relay type in question
https://ibb.co/zQDvkYM
... and the female base that seems to
refect the problem ...

A local sparky supplied me with some
suitable female connector spades and
matching insulation sleeves which I will use
... pending acquiring the correct
5-pin female-base...

https://ibb.co/wM2MSDW
... and here the relevant manual page
indicating affected parts are
Fuse FL1 and Relay 1 ...
