Apparently they can't find the correct flex plate,(not even at Land Rover) so getting one laser cut out of 6mm spring steel, should get it by Tuesday then everything needs to go back in again.
Hoping to have her back by Friday...

Everything is back together just need to start and add oil to the gearbox.

But she won't start, suspecting the crank position sensor but can't get one anywhere....

have you asked Colin Striker63. he seems to have a good contact for Range Rover spares. Give him a shout.

Spoke to British 4x4 today and they said they've got in stock so will go there first thing tomorrow morning and hopefully it's the correct part.
Then off to Midrand till 12 and to Lenasia for a 1pm meeting and then to springs to drop the part and then to boksburg for a 4pm appointment.

Isn't it suppose to be weekend allready... ?

Got the part, made a small difference but still not starting.
They've checked fuel pressure etc.
Not sure what's next but they'll keep at it, hope to have her back soon, starting to get withdrawal symptoms really badly...
Almost considered buying a jeep this weekend

Selling a troublesome Range Rover & buying a Jeep is like deciding to change your addiction from Cocaine to Heroine for health reasons...
