Caltex Delo 400 MGX

Is this the right oil? I don’t recall seeing the MGX bit before. 15W40. If I remember Delo 400 is preferred to Delo Gold.
R265/5l at Midas seems a good price. I haven’t bought oil for a while.

The MGX is fairly new and is a better version of the 400, apparently

Hillfox Power Centre must have the worst Midas in the network:
I have never seen Delo there despite everyone saying Midas stock it.
In fact, Midas Hillfox generally only sell the Midas brand.
Midas oil.
Midas Titan shocks.
Etc.
I resorted to buying Q8 15W40 recently.
Paid R720 for 20 litres.
Would love me some Delo....

Yip, Delo 400 or the better 400 MGX, but not the Delo Gold, its the cheap rubbish. The MGX replaced the LE spec about 18 - 24 months back, so there may have been old stock on the shelves.
Also don't be scared to ask for a discount...

Well Midas 15W40 is supplied by Chevron, who supplies Delo products.

Manny, there are 2x 5l in my car for you. There are only 2 left on the shelf at Midas Edenvale if anyone else wants them at R265/5l.
