HUMMER Reliability Report

#1

Post by Sabaki »

At 262000km, I have nothing to report. Well, except for a vote of confidence with the purchase of Dick Cepek 16" rims with a slight offset. Anyone else, anybody?

I think Hummers are getting cooler & cooler somehow. Never used to be the case.

Standing on 110k km with the White Elephant, and nothing to report as of yet, just fun all the way
It's not a car, It's not a truck, It's not just another 4x4, It's a HUMMER

I know Right, :D by the trend people are selling vehicles when they get close to their warranty expiration date, you would assume by 110k km it must have exploded like the H3 in the Top gear Marauder episode

For interest sake and to contribute to this thread....

A very good friend of mine, from Benoni, owns a 2007 3.7L Adventure model.

It currently has 250,000km on the clock.

All he has ever had to do was replace the oil cooler. He had an external oil cooler fitted. And once the oil pipe to the cooler burst. Other than that, not much has gone wrong other than wear and tear.

Can anyone recommend a good Hummer mechanic in JHB ?
I have a H3 owner that’s struggling with his steering rack.
