Craig it doesn’t need a handbrake. Just switch the aircon on. It’ll lock the wheels.

With a hydraulic setup when the handbrake is on, the system is always under pressure. I don't think that is good. What vehicles have hydraulic handbrakes?

Cons: it’s illegal. It doesn’t work.

Pros: it works (for a while), then a con, it looses pressure, and then it doesn’t work anymore....

Maar dan is dit nie n “park brake” nie, maar eerder n “hand operated brake”.
N “park brake” mag nie hidrolies wees nie, want net een seeltjie op master of slaves silinder wat sweet, of inskroef konneksie wat sweet, en die stelsel verloor druk. So die voertuig staan geparkeer met hidroliese rem. Jy loop weg. Na enige iets van 2 min tot 48 uur, verloor dit stelselmatig druk, en voertuig loop reen bult af.

Drifting cars do use a hydraulic "hand" brake of sort called a cutting brake that operates on the rear wheels.
These operate much like a normal foot brake and don't stay locked when hand pressure is released.

You could fit something like this into the rear brake line.

But as Reenen has already mentioned they are only as good as the seals you have fitted in your brake system and will bleed pressure over time.
As a temporary parking brake it would work quite well though.
