I'm pondering building a removable rear sliding system for my Tuna (and a mates newer Tuna)

Does any one have pics of what they have done for ideas?

My second fridge is a NL 80 litre, but I suspect its actually too big for the purpose, what size 2nd fridges do you guys run?

Removable? Is this just for the fridge slides?

I made a flat 12mm covered marine ply base for the GX. I then added tie downs onto that for my ammo boxes. I also have a 90litre fridge slide on top of that. We take a 90litre fridge in the GX. We tried two 40 litre fridge, but they take up a lot more space

I will take photos later and post

I was thinking of downgrading my 80 litre National Luna fridge to a 52 litre due to space, Initially I want just the slides & trays, and I need it removable as I often use the jump seats & boot and it is an everyday car, I was thinking 12mm MDF, use the jump seat brackets on the floor with J-hooks to mount the board.

So very soon i will probably have a very good condition NL 80 litre fridge with baskets up for grabs...

Kurt, how did you mount it to the car permanently/so its safe?
I was thinking of using the same, just maybe 2mm ABS plastic sheeting as its a lot lighter then chromadek, and easier to cut

It’s mounted to the bolt holes that are used for the back seats that I removed, each car will be different but it is bolted down.

Here is the drawer I made for Mad Man, he had a Gobi-X fridge slide that he has not used so I enclosed it with some left over materials. It came out much nicer than my drawer I made because I used different carpeting material.
