Managed to get hold of a PTO output drive
for RRvr Classic ... attaches onto end of LT95 GBox
and can engage/disengage (via lever) to harness
engines to power for various purposes eg
to drive capstan winch or run pully to drive
generator etc etc

Most commonly to drive winches ...
even from centre underside of vehicle via idler
pullies.
With a drive shaft to back of vehicle
it can be a power source for many things...
(even a concrete mixer ...)
... thats why ...

Ek sal dit love om n pto te hĂȘ op my patrol en isuzu bakkies.
Die bakkies se promere doel is om brand te blus. N pto wat waterpomp dryf sou baie handig wees ipv petrol pompe

In the past Land Rovers w PTO s
were used in many places as fire engines ...
using the motor power to pump water
under pressure.
My Uncle who farmed Zambia all his life
always had an small old (english?) tractor with
quite a large generator mounted at the back driven off a PTO so he could have good current anywhere
... but mainly for welding .
