Ah. They’ve been peddling this since I was a wee child.
Maybe in 20-30 years, they’ll have this mainstream ready.

It's all to do with oil, oil, and more oil. When it finally runs out everyone will be scrambling for these motors.

Fossil Fuels will NEVER run out.
EV's are NOT the answer.
Toyotas approach is the most balanced:
They'll offer ICE, Hybrid, Hydrogen Hybrid, Pure Hydrogen & EV options.
The Green parties are on the back foot all over Europe.

Toyota bet on Hydrogen tech a while back and is now trying to double down even though EV is starting to take off across the manufacturer board.
One thing the hydrogen issues video didn't mention is the huge amounts of energy it takes to extract.

"One thing the hydrogen issues video didn't mention is the huge amounts of energy it takes to extract"
And this energy comes from......
No prizes.

Psyphin, is Lithium for a EVs battery lying loose on the ground?
A Hydrogen vehicles life cycle is greener than an EV's....

Solar powered extractors. Already being used globally. So basically Hydrogen gets extracted during daytime and stored. No use of fossil fuels or expensive batteries.

It is in theory, if it can be somehow stored at practical amounts, somehow safely filled at hydrogen fuel stations, use less energy to extract. Lithium is a lot easier to get and EVs are already on the way.
So the RnD into Hydrogen is still good so one day maybe it can replace EVs. Maybe even a H2EV Hydrogen EV Hybrid. But not at our currently tech level.
Ok maybe not science fiction, but still far by the looks of it.

Regardless of how far EVs and H come, I won't own one.

In my early days of my career (pre 1980) I worked for a chemical factory, and the plant I worked for produced Hydrogen using the electrolysis process. Storage was done in a dome tank.
So it's been done and I suppose still is.

If I ever own a hydrogen car, I know what my registration number would be...
