I've had an inquiry about the Wheel Locating Pin sets that I make for a few Unimogs and an Iveco 55S15 Crew Cab. The Unimog's are a U4000 model, a U1550 model and a U1300L model. All I've been able to find on the internet is that some Unimogs have M18x1.5 studs and others have M20x1.5 studs. Is there anyone on the forum that would be able to give me the wheel stud size and the diameter of the hole in the rim? My internet search will continue tomorrow in between the government-sponsored blackouts.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

So, 3 seconds of googling and I found out Unimog Freunde of SA is a Facebook based Club.
No Website.
No Forum.
So, if it was me, looking for answers I would:
1. Join the FB page.
2. Ask my question there.
Reckon you could have cracked this case in under 1 hour....

That is exactly the same as I found Manny.
I'm looking for someone I can speak to. It's much easier to explain exactly the measurements I need without miss interpretation.

I'm not sure if that link works as I'm sort of banned there. But if it does not, see if you can find Dawid Loubser's profile. He always was relatively active in the Merc section.

Or just PM him here, he is a member.

Or keep waiting for a contact number to fall out the sky...

If he's a member, surely you have his contact details on record. That would be a better solution than pulling them from where you think the sun shines from.

POPIA? Illegal for MM to provide that without consent.

Who pays any attention to that? All those spam calls that I get every day - none of those are paying it any attention.

I think Manny needs to be cognisant and compliant as owner of the forum.

What personal info do I have that I could share?
When you join you give your Forum name, real name, where you live and e-mail address.

In Dawid's case his Forum name is his real name.
The only thing I have that Paul doesn't is his e-mail address.
But when you send a PM it should send him an e-mail notifying him.

I know people in IT live in quivering fear that their bank details, PIN, exact address and passwords can be hacked.

But you don't enter that when joining the Forum.

Quoted for context. Technically, you do provide a password when you join the forum.

The passwords are stored securely - ie: they're stored as salted hashes. A salt being a piece of data added to the password and a hash being a cryptographic, one-way algorithm. ie: It is stored in a manner which is not cryptographically reversible.

That said, hashes can be cracked in terms of word-list based attacks - this is where the salt comes in. But it would still be a feasible attack to conduct dictionary-based attacks on these hashes.

In other words, please make sure the password you use is not the same as your Vleisbroek, Instant-grammar, Pin-uninterested, Twits, anythingbutt4x4forum, etc.
