A Ford would do better with a Turbo monitor.

That is very good. As was Manny's chirp about Pornhub...  On some other thread, he also described morons as "people who think MILF includes their own". He has been on a roll recently... :)

Glad they finally supply customers with a spare - given how often their Turbo's go Snap!@ Crackle! & Pop!

He is on a roll if his workers mess up, customers mess him around, didn't get paid by month end and he got up grumpy...

After the last Carnage video, I'd hesitate to have an external TPMS. Luckily JK and JL Wranglers don't have that type of stone age tech.
I use internal monitors. These come standard with the steel valves.
I lost two of these steel valves on Carnage. So it did not really have to do with the TPMS itself, which is internal.
Not much damage. They are cheap (R40 each). Just the time taken to replace on the trail that was annoying.

The valves got damaged because of its position on the rim, and they are more likely to damage than rubber ones.
I am now moving the valve position deeper into the rim (big offset allows this) - no rock will be able to reach it there.

Swambo did a trip to Tzaneen once a month from Pretoria. She was rightfully concerned about having a flat tire on this route.

Since l’m not a Boomer I like to use my phone for more than just calling and replying “OK” on every SMS, I decidedly to install the CAWE system for her CX-5 as well. (Ran the internal TPMS from CAWE on my Hilux for some time by then). Went internal sensor for fear for expropriation without compensation.

Shortly after fitting the system she received a warning from the system about a tire losing pressure just before getting on the highway. She kept straight and could safely stop at a garage. Just in this one instance it paid for itself 10 fold. Best is if you set it up the notifications you can allow it to send the notification to your smartwatch.

A TPMS warning only has to go off in anger once before it has paid for itself. I was stupid not to acquire mine earlier. Tyres are expensive.
