If one purchases a LC , one of the first things is typically to buy one of those monster back-bumpers that support two spare-wheel swing-arms and perhaps a wood-basket, or a few Jerries or a water canister etc etc

Might this change the metrics or not ?

P.S. this is a ‘ concede-able’ benefit of buying a LC … IMO.

Quick feedback.

I went with the TPMS system that Andreas suggested.

I have done almost 1000kms with them on my Bushlapa and thus far can report no issues. It does what it says on the box. The App is easy to use. I think even Manny would be able to use it.

It's not expensive.

FYI.

I went to Safari Centre before I purchased these to inquire about replacement sensors for my TireMoni system. At the end of the day the replacement/s would have cost the same as a new unit would have done. So TireMoni can go get stuffed

Nice to hear Mike. I have done about 10 000km with mine on the car and over 6000km on the trailer. No issues.

Question, will the app alert in the background or does the app need to be open and on screen to alert?

It alerts even when run in the background.

Wessie, did you not get an alert in the back ground when this happened?

Nice thing about the app is that you can keep it open and keep an eye on the vitals. Will help with noticing slow punctures even before the alarm sounds.

I did, but tyre place also says that my tpms sensors are old and cause leaks on the valves….

Mike, die BFs het net n normale spyker in die band gekry… niks ongewoonds nie.

Ek het hom met BFs gekoop, my keuse sou eerder Pirelli at+ gewees het…. Beste waarde vir geld.
