Hey Shane, at school they taught us to read this type of graph:

This solves the “in between” dilemma you have.

I'm with Shane on this one. Tyre temps are taken for granted and can be the difference between 60k and 70k km on a set.

@Shane, to answer your question, don't let the canopy fool you. That drawer system may take up a lot of useable and practical space, but it does not weigh much.

Back to practicalities. Who here ever overheated their tyres?

Grips I know that you drive on low pressures due to the roads in your region.

Surely you,of all people, should have experienced overheated tyre problems?

Shane I run my tyres at 1.6. Tar and gravel. Have done a 600km Namib trip on 0.6 with a very long 60+ km/h run along the beach. I do dunes and sand driving at 0.5 when I play all day long. I have never overheated any tyre I know of. Maybe I did but did not know it. Maybe the tyre brand has something to do with it. I never got less than 80k km on a set.

I hate it to drive with my eyes glued on monitors like Madman and TPS. For me oil pressure, engine temp, charging rate and fuel level is more than enough.

There are lots of things you rather should not know
