Hoping to find help. I need Dielectric Grease for a project that is not silicon based. But where to buy this...

Erm...
DiElectric grease IS a silicon based grease, it's non conductive and water repellent.... I know RS components carry various makes , but you should find it in places like ACDC I'd imagine.
You can use vaseline as a substitute , it's water repellent and non conductive, but it's petroleum based (no silicon and thus NOT Dielectric grease) and can damage rubber and it's also flammable.

oh - you can also use Red rubber grease, my favorite stuff!
it's plant oil based, designed to work with rubber, water repellent. not sure if it's non conductive though, you'd have to look it up on the spec sheet!
