But you only Service the petrol IO every 15,000km and not every 10,000km.... so it’s 50% cheaper to service???ThysleRoux wrote:I was looking at a Wanker IO for my son a few weeks ago. The seller also owns a Frotuna and mentioned that he had both serviced recently. The 1800 petrol IO was 40% more expensive in parts and labour than the diesel [spit] Appliance
I just smiled, waved and walked away..........

Of those 2 options it is no 2!
I am not dead yet.
A Pajero is a Toyota wannabe.
Like a fake tattoo. (From far it looks serious on closer inspection it is just plain embarrassing)

In the long run it'll be cheaper to maintain than a diesel yes, but still way more than most other 1800 petrol vehicles - which is the point I was trying to make. The cost of parts alone that the seller mentioned, was a lot more than a full selection of service parts for RooiTjiep's V8 engine, for instance.KurtG wrote: ↑Thu Aug 30, 2018 12:46 pmBut you only Service the petrol IO every 15,000km and not every 10,000km.... so it’s 50% cheaper to service???ThysleRoux wrote:I was looking at a Wanker IO for my son a few weeks ago. Wel die oom het vandag weer 'n Amarok V6 extreme gaan ry.
It was disappointing.
Power yes love it
Gearbox yes love it.
Interior quality yes love it
It just does not make me feel special in the cabin like the wildtrack(for much less) or for the same money Mandy's Evoque (For still less than this).
So no new bakkie for now.
