New BFgoodrich KM3 muds

#1

Post by GarrethG »

Hi guys

Anyone fitted a set of KM3 BFgoodrich muds yet ?

I just got a set to use on my Isuzu Frontier. Would like to know your thoughts and experience you had with them.

I’ll have them fitted soon and will keep you all update on them.

Cheers.

Cannot comment on the newest BF muds. Run 2 sets of the old Muds with very good results. One set of 31 x 10.5 and a set 35`s. They went past the 80k/km mark. I find the new KO2`s to be better than the old A/T`s. Think that judging by that the KM3`s will be better than the old muds.

I must say I had two sets of the KM2’s I hated them, both set I bought second hand and sold again shortly after. One set in 16inch and the other in 17inch.

I hope the KM3’s being brand new and new on the market will keep me happy.
My Fortuner is also running a set of KO2’s and I’m happy with them. Still don’t know if all that money is worth it but so far so good.
I’m not the biggest BFgoodrich fan but I can feel it’s growing on me.

These are the 245/75/16 and total cost was around R15 000 for the 4.
So these tyres cost half of what I paid for the old Isuzu. Things are crazy expensive.....
